"Mindfulness & Yoga Grace with Malin ,

Tuesdays 9.30-11.00 

 Gentle slow flows, restful positions, breathing exercises and relaxation. Focusing on functional mobility; strength and mobility combined with Presence/Mindfulness exercises.

This yoga mainly promotes your inner strength, stability and mobility, as well as posture, balance and presence. In Grace, adaptations are provided for those who need them. Chair can be used as support. 
Yoga Grace is suitable for those who want simple, strengthening and sustainable yoga. Good for "everyone", Suitable for eg seniors, pregnant women, those with back problems etc.
You will be given your own individual adjustments if needed, and support by chair and wall as an alternative. Gentle breath-led movements for focus, mobility, stability, strength and relaxation.

Malin has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, has almost 500 hours of yoga teacher training, with the foundation in Hatha yoga and Virya Yoga, and many years of experience teaching mindfulness, yoga and horseback riding. Malin is also a riding teacher and mindfulness instructor.

Sensing yoga is a gentle form of movement with allowing, healing movements that resonate with your inner core. We go back to how we are created to move, without any performance, as nature people and animals do to maintain their health well into old age.
When we move on our body's terms, we calm our nervous system.
We moisturize and dissolve blockages (stiffness and pain) in our connective tissue (fascia), which surrounds all our muscles / organs. When it becomes soft and pliable again, we can release what the body no longer needs, then we feel better both physically and emotionally.
We shake, rock, sway and pandiculate (body yawns), always listening to how the body wants to move. There are also more therapeutic movements for problems in different parts of the body.
Our meetings will have different themes and there will also be some deeper relaxation and free dance.

My name is Monica, I have worked with health in different ways for the last 20 years, as an organic hairdresser and with different types of treatments and massages. I have trained in Qigong/Meditation, Healing, Conversation Therapy, High Sensitivity and Yoga. I started Sensing Yoga three years ago, and it has made me more aware and listening to my body and has helped me release tension and locks in my body. Now I know what to do if they arise.
I want to share this with you who are curious about a "new" way of moving, even in everyday life, to feel better and live more authentically.

Hysteria women's choir


Location: Kollberggården, Kleva on southern Öland

Is the desire to sing growing in you? Maybe it has already grown strong? Do you want to sing with other women, and free your voice in playful voices, in a safe space?
During the fall, we will work with a common goal; a Lucia procession with a mix of traditional and folk tones. With our own arrangements and under the direction of Saga "Starur" Björling.
The choir meets and sings together on Wednesdays.
 
More about Hysteria: a choir with a unique methodology
The initiative for the choir was taken in the fall of 2022 by Saga Björling and Lisa Johansson and came from a longing to gather women who want to experience the joy of sounding together. The response was strong and today there are two choirs consisting of women living in Kalmar and on Öland. The concept of sisterhood is central. With shared responsibility, we strive to create a space where we lift each other up and create security. Safety to explore the voice and to move our bodies both because it is enjoyable and gives joy and because we want to develop our individual and collective musicality and the courage to express ourselves. In addition to singing, each choir meeting also has elements of landing in the body, movement and dance.
With ear-based voice singing, we take on everything from folk songs from the 18th century to trot-friendly 90s songs.
