Riding Camp Summer 2023 - Children & Youth

The most fun days of summer!

Lovely community at the cozy Kollberggården with the horses, wonderful riding routes, large riding track, oval track, the sea, swimming with horse, play and fun, outdoor spa, good food, nice accommodation and new friends!

Duration: 4 days

Age: From 10 years old

Experience: For those with good riding experience. Equivalent to at least 2 years at riding school and good experience of (at least) the three basic gaits.

Program:

Day 1: Gathering at 13.00. 1 riding lesson + theory lesson + evening activity

Day 2-3: 1 riding lesson/day + Outdoor ride, swimming + theory lesson + evening activity

Day 4: 1 riding lesson + final show. Check-out at 15.30.

 

What is included:

  • Horse depending on riding experience (or bring your own horse, paddock included)
  • Riding lessons are given by qualified riding teachers in small groups, and we have the opportunity to divide the outings into two groups, for the best conditions for everyone's development.
  • Share in a twin room or 4-bed cabin.
  • We serve breakfast (8.00), lunch (12.30), snacks, dinner (18.00) and supper. Fruit platters are available for self service. The tasty, home-cooked food is locally produced and organic as far as possible.

 

To take with you:

  • Riding gloves, riding clothes, riding shoes (riding helmet available to borrow)
  • Rainwear
  • Plain clothes
  • Warm sweater and/or jacket
  • Bath towel
  • swimwear
  • Personal care products
  • Sunscreen
  • Small bag to pack swimwear in
  • Bed linen & towels (can be rented for 120 SEK / set. Please book in advance.)

 

Security:

  • Age limit 11 years
  • For those with good riding experience. Equivalent to at least 2 years at riding school and good experience of (at least) the three basic gaits.
  • Due to COVID-19, we ask you to stay at home in case of cold symptoms, we will reimburse you.

 

Price 5845 SEK, incl. horse rental, board & lodging.

Travel climate smart! There is a bus connection from Kalmar train station to the stop next to the farm. If you come with the Silver Line directly from Stockholm to Öland, we can meet you at the Silver Line bus stop.

We have travel insurance through the Chamber of Commerce so you should feel safe when you book with us.
